Sirop antitussif à la guaïfénésine pour le traitement symptomatique des affections récentes des voies aériennes associées à des problèmes d'expectoration (toux grasse).

L'utilisation de ce sirop antitussif est contre-indiquée chez les enfants de moins de 6 ans.

Le traitement doit être le plus court possible (maximum 4 à 5 jours).


Si la toux persiste plus de 4 à 5 jours, l'état clinique du patient doit être réévalué par un médecin.


- Avec gobelet gradué pour une dose précise.
- Secouer avant l'emploi.

La guaïfénésine:


• Favorise l'expectoration en rendant les sécrétions bronchiques plus fluides: cela peut se traduire par un effet calmant de
la toux.


Vicks Expectorant miel:


• Sirop visqueux. Garantie de contact avec la surface de la gorge. Ce pouvoir \"couvrant\" spécifique du sirop vis-à-vis de la surface de la gorge donne lieu à une sensation rapide d'efficacité.

Administration orale:


• Adultes et enfants de plus de 12 ans: 15 ml (200 mg de guaïfénésine)
3 à 4 fois par jour. Pas plus de 30 ml (400 mg de guaïfénésine) par prise et pas plus de 120 ml (1600 mg de guaïfénésine) par 24 heures.


• Enfants de 6 à 12 ans: 10 ml (133 mg de guaïfénésine) 3 à 4 fois par jour. Pas plus de 15 ml (200 mg de guaïfénésine) par prise et pas plus de 60 ml (800 mg de guaïfénésine) par 24 heures.
