Test indicating the presence of leucocytes, protein, nitrites and blood in the urine. Detection of a urinary tract infection
It is recommended d?use the first urine of the morning to perform the test, because the substances to identify are at their maximum concentration in the urine. The urine used for this test must not come in contact with the water or with disinfectants or detergents. For women, the test should not be performed during menses and up to 3 days of distance from this period. The urine sample must not be contaminated by vaginal secretions because they distort the results. Do not take any important decision on the medical plan without having obtained the opinion of your treating physician.
