Mesorb is a bandage-soft, strong absorbent capable of retaining large amounts of exudate. The outer film which is resistant to the liquid to prevent the wound being contaminated by body external, and that the exudate penetrates the clothing and bedding.

Renewal of dressings less frequently result in cost savings and an increase in the time devoted to the patient.

Mesorb is indicated for wounds with moderately to heavily exuding. It can be used for dressing primary and be applied directly on the wound, or as a secondary dressing if a power absorption important is required (higher than that provided by the Mepitel dressing or Melgisorb Plus, for example).

1. Thoroughly clean the wound as needed, and dry the periwound skin.
2. Apply Mesorb directly on the site of the wound or on the dressing primary chosen, causing it to overflow at least 1 cm on the periwound skin.
3. Hold in position with a fastening system adapted.
4. Mesorb may be placed under compression bandages.

Renewal

• Mesorb should be renewed according to the clinical condition of the wound, or when it is saturated.
• In case of deterioration in the condition of the wound, stop the application and consult a health care professional.
