The masks for respiratory protection are designed to reduce the risk of exposure of the user to the contaminating particles. The masks for respiratory protection 3M™ without valve and with valve protected also protect patients from the exhaled air by the health professionals.

All protection masks respiratory 3M™ are manufactured from the filtering material Advanced Electret 3M™, which has a low resistance respiratory and effective protection against sub-micron particle sizes, the fine dust particles, non-volatile fluids and biological agents (e.g. tb, SARS, pandemic influenza). The valve 3M™ Cool Flow™ allows for an effective removal of heat and moisture inside the mask, making the mask more comfortable, while minimizing the risk of fogging on the glasses.
