Citrulline: citrulline is part of the urea cycle. Thanks to this cycle, the excess nitrogen (for example in the form of ammonia in the event of breakdown of muscles - the nitrogen being a component toxic to the human body) is transformed into a nontoxic form and then flushed out of the body.
Malate: malate is a component of the Krebs cycle (= the process energy generator, the most important of the body). The lactate is recovered best.
