Cholesterol is a fat that comes to a third of our food supply and is produced for the other two-thirds by the liver. There is only one cholesterol but several systems of transport of cholesterol. The HDL (High Density Lipoproteins), which are known as the good cholesterol and the LDL (Low Density Lipoproteins) known as bad cholesterol. When it is present in excess in the body, the bad cholesterol can accumulate on the walls of arteries and form deposits, which significantly increases the risk of cardiovascular disease: heart and stroke in particular. A balanced diet, rich in fruits and vegetables and low in saturated fats, regular physical activity and cessation of smoking can help combat the bad cholesterol. Armolipid® PLUS is a natural food supplement containing berberine, red rice fermented, polycosanols (a mixture of fatty alcohols natural), folic acid, coenzyme Q10 (a constituent of the cells of the body) and astaxanthin (red pigment-pink present in, among others, micro-algae). In this composition unique and patented, berberine* is an element strengths multiple. This natural substance extracted from the bark of Berberis aristata, a shrub endemic to the Himalayas and Nepal, increases including insulin sensitivity, contributes to the reduction of bad cholesterol and another type of fat, triglycerides, and has anti-microbial action. The combined action of these natural ingredients has demonstrated through numerous clinical studies, conducted with Armolipid® PLUS, a better control of cholesterol and reduction of triglycerides.

It is advised to take one tablet daily with a glass of water. Usage precautions:

Do not use during pregnancy, lactation or in combination with a lipid-lowering drug (a drug that lowers fat levels in the blood).

Keep out of reach of young children.

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

Studies on the safety profile showed that the use of Armolipid® PLUS can sometimes cause dyspepsia (digestive disorders) and myalgia (muscle pain). This leads, however, rarely to discontinuation of the use of the product.
