SportsControl WinErgy is an 'energy drink', specially developed to ensure optimum absorption of carbohydrates (sugars) during exercise.

A litre of SportsControl WinErgy provides 140 grams of carbohydrates, of which 71 % of maltodextrin, and 29% of fructose, and represents a gain of energy of 552 kcal per litre. SportsControl WinErgy, diluted according to the instructions (see below), is a drink hypertonic with an osmolality of 450 mOsm/kg. Because of this osmolality is higher than that of our refreshing drink hypotonic SportsControl 2Win (~250 mOsm/kg), or our drink rehydration SportsControl O. R. S. 4Sport (~225 Osm/kg), the absorption of water into the body is slower with this energy drink. Therefore, SportsControl WinErgy, unlike SportsControl 2Win or SportsControl O. R. S. 4Sport, is a sports drink that promotes the absorption of carbohydrates in a first time, and less than that of water, in order to compensate for sweat losses.

Due to the high concentration of carbohydrates, SportsControl WinErgy allows you to store quickly a large amount of carbohydrates and, therefore, useful energy, in a volume of water to be reduced, either before, during or after the effort. During the preparation phase of an endurance test of long duration (more than 90 min.), SportsControl WinErgy can be used to increase the carbohydrate reserves in the muscles for a few days before the test. During long-term efforts (>60min), SportsControl WinErgy is also the perfect drink to fuel muscles into energy, and this more particularly when efforts are being made in a cold environment, where it is not advisable to drink large amounts of water because of the low loss of water by transpiration. When efforts provided in a hot environment, it is possible to use SportsControl WinErgy as a sports drink, on the condition that the athlete is getting enough water through SportsControl O. R. S. 4Sport or simply water. Given that the rebuilding of carbohydrate reserves in the muscles after physical effort depends largely on the amount of carbohydrate consumed after exercise, SportsControl WinErgy can also help to stimulate the recovery, preferably in combination with SportsControl Recovery or SportsControl Recup Gold.
