In the case of seizures, diarrhoea and vomiting, the body loses water as well as food substances and salts are important. In addition, the balance of the bacterial flora naturally present in the gastro-intestinal tract can be disrupted. The dietary supplement Protectis O. R. S. with Lactobacillus reuteri Protectis is quickly absorbed by the body and restores the fluid and electrolyte balance (rate of water and electrolytes) in the case of diarrhea and vomiting.
Lactobacillus reuteri Protectis helps the digestive system to return more quickly to its equilibrium. The effectiveness and safety of using Lactobacillus reuteri Protectis have been demonstrated using a clinical study conducted in children and adults.

Preparation (on the basis of glucose, salts (O. R. S.) and of Lactobacillus reuteri Protectis), for special medical purposes (FSMP): to advocate in the event of crises diarrhoeal light and acute in infants, children and adults.

Per serving (250 ml):
protein < 0.1 g, carbohydrate 3.75 mg (glucose 3.75 mg), fat < 0.1 g, sodium 0.35 g, salt 0.4 g, potassium 0.2 g, citrate 0.5 g, zinc 1.5 mg.

Children under 2 years of age (< 2 years):
Day 1: dose-start of 50 ml/kg during the first 4 to 8 hours; then, 50 to 100 ml after each liquid stool;
The following days, if the watery stools persist: 50 to 100 ml after each liquid stool.
Children 2 to 10 years:
Day 1: dose-start of 50 ml/kg during the first 4 to 8 hours; then, 100 to 200 ml after each liquid stool;
The following days, if the watery stools persist: 100 to 200 ml after each liquid stool.
Children over 10 years and adults:
1 pouch (250 ml) after each liquid stool.
Use
Protectis O. R. S. is a preparation instant easy. It is enough to dissolve 1 sachet of Protectis O. R. S. (5.5 g) in 250 ml of water and mix well.
If you are not sure of the quality of the water, you must boil it. Or better yet: use bottled water brand that is safe.
The boiled water must be cooled before adding Protectis O. R. S.
The preparation Protectis O. R. S. is stored for 6 hours in the fridge and 3 hours at room temperature.

To keep dry, at a temperature below 25 °C.
