BRAUNOL AD US DERM 30ML

The Braunol is an aqueous solution of povidone iodine, ready-to-use.

• The active substances are : 1000 ml of solution : Povidone iodine (containing about 10 % iodine releasable) 76,88 g.

• The other components (excipients) are : For 1000 ml solution : Iodate of sodium, sodium Hydroxide, sodium dihydrogen dihydrate, Macrogol 9 Lauryl Ether, purified Water q. s. ad 1000 ml.

• of the skin and mucous membranes
• wounds (with the solution non-diluted or irrigation with a dilute solution)
• uro-genital before catheterization or cystoscopy, and adjuvant treatment of vulvo-vaginitis

Povidone iodine is an anti-infective topical. It has a bactericidal activity against the Gram (+) bacteria and Gram (-) present on the skin (including : Pseudomonas, Streptococci, Staphylococci). It also has a fungicidal activity (including Candida albicans, Dermatophytes), as well as an action sporocide and virucide.
