Indicated for the treatment and prophylaxis of infections involving the yeast Pityrosporum, such as pityriasis versicolor (localised forms), seborrheic dermatitis and pityriasis capitis (dandruff of the scalp).

Wash the affected area (torso, face, scalp) with NIZORAL shampoo and leave to act for 5 to 10 minutes before rinsing.

Treatment:
- pityriasis versicolor: 1 application is enough;
- tinea capitis: 2 x per week, for 2 to 4 weeks;
- seborrheic dermatitis: 2 x per week, for 2 to 4 weeks.

Maintenance treatment:
- tinea capitis: 1 x per week or 1 x per fortnight;
- seborrheic dermatitis: 1 x per week or 1 x per fortnight.

Ketoconazole 20 mg/g shampoo
