- Conditions inflammatory joint such as
- Rheumatoid arthritis
- Ankylosing spondylitis
- Still's disease (juvenile rheumatoid arthritis) and disease states related
- Diseases articular degenerative : osteo-arthrosis.
- Affections extra-articular, such as periarthritis, bursitis, tendinitis, tenosynovitis, syndrome, cervical and acute pain of the lower back due to degenerative disc disease
- Primary dysmenorrhea
- Pain after a accouchemen
- Pain after an episiotomy
- Inflammation postoperative and trauma
- Inflammation after surgical interventions to the jaw area and dental procedures
Adults and children > 12 years
- Dose recommendation: 3 x 600 mg per day
- Maintenance Dose: 3 x 400 mg or 2 x 600 mg per day
- Rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis: up to 4 x 600 mg per day
- 4 x 200 mg daily to 3 x 400 mg or 2 x 600 mg per day
- Dysmenorrhea: 1200 mg per day in divided doses.
- The treatment should begin as soon as the pain is announcement or even the previous day; two to three days of treatment are usually sufficient
- 400 mg , 2 to 3 times per day
- Max. 1200 mg per day
- Starting Dose according to the severity (for a few days)
- is 3 000 mg per day (2 x 600 mg in the morning, 1 x 600 mg at noon, and 2 x 600 mg in the evening)
- or 2 400 mg per day (1 x 600 mg in the morning and the midday and 2 x 600 mg in the evening).
- Then, gradually reduce to 1 to 800 mg per day (3 x 600 mg) up to a maintenance dose of 1200 mg per day (3 x 400 mg or 2 x 600 mg)
- Max. 1800 mg /day
Children < 12 years old
- 2 to 6 years of age : maximum 600 mg per day (3 x 200 mg)
- 7 to 11 years of age : maximum of 1200 mg per day (3 x 400 mg)
Mode of administration
- To be taken preferably 1 hour before meals
- Take the tablets of Ibuprofen with a glass of water.
