Cedium iodine dermal is used in: - The disinfection of small skin lesions such as cuts, burns, bedsores, fungus, acne. - Disinfection of the healthy skin before a minor procedure or an injection
Cedium iodine dermal is intended to be used externally and locally on the skin. Hold the bottle upside down and pour a few drops on the wound; or apply the solution, pure or diluted in half with water on the wound using cotton wool or a sterile gauze pad and leave it for 15 to 20 seconds. Repeat the treatment 2 to 3 times per day. The recommended dose is: - Washing of wounds: use a dilution of one dose of a solution in 10 doses of water or saline. - Irrigation of wound: a dilution of 2% in physiological saline is indicated. The need to cover up the wound using a sterile dressing after decontamination. The brown coloration of the skin is transient; it can be removed with a little water. Any unwanted stains on clothing can be removed using soap and water. The treatment should be as short as possible. If symptoms persist after 3 days, consult a doctor. Your doctor will tell you how long you need to use Cedium iodine dermal. Use in children Do not use Cedium iodine dermal in children under the age of 2.5 years (30 months). Do not use Cedium iodine dermal in a child of 2.5 years (30 months) to 5 years old without the advice of your doctor.
