Fever and/or mild to moderate pain
Symptomatic treatment of short term mild to moderate pain (e.g. headache, odontalgia, and dysmenorrhea) and/or fever, in infants (older than 3 months), children, adolescents, and adults (including the elderly).
Dosage
- Recommended daily Dose:
-
- approximately 60 mg/kg/day, divided into 4 or 6 outlets.
- Recommended Dose is taken:
-
- about 15 mg/kg every 6 hours or 10 mg/kg every 4 hours.
- Maximum daily Dose:
-

- from 51 kg: 4000 mg per 24 hours.
- Also consult the tables in the manual.

FAILURE RENALE
- Severe renal impairment: extend the interval between doses.
- Creatinine clearance < 10 ml/min: range min. 8 hours between 2 doses.
An adaptation of the dose is also indicated in cases of hepatic impairment, mild to moderate.
Mode of administration
- The bottle must be well agitated before use.
- The exact amount should be administered using the 5 ml syringe provided (graduated every 0.25 ml).
- Can be taken with food and drinks. Take paracetamol after meals can delay the onset of its action.
- The oral suspension should not be diluted or mixed with other beverages.
- For infants weighing less than 7 kg (6 months), the use of suppositories should be considered, if available, except in the case where the administration of this pharmaceutical form is not possible due to clinical reasons (diarrhea, for example).
- For children > 41 kg (> 12 years), adolescents, and adults, other dosage forms of paracetamol are available, which can be considered to be more appropriate.
