The treatment and prevention of a lack of vitamin C.
This insufficiency may be due to:
- a diet improperly balanced
- a reduced absorption in the event of illness of the stomach or intestines
- an increase in vitamin C requirements in certain circumstances, such as pregnancy or breastfeeding
What is UPSA-C 1000 mg effervescent tablets
- The active substance is ascorbic Acid
- The other ingredients are : sodium Bicarbonate ; citric Acid anhydrous ; Sucrose ; sodium Saccharin ; Polyethylene glycol 6000 ; sodium Benzoate (E211) ; orange Aroma 87 56 28 ; orange-Yellow S (E110) ; purified Water. See Section 2 UPSA-C contains sucrose, sodium, and an azo dye.
Taken by the mouth after dissolving in a glass of water.
The recommended dose is ½ to 1 tablet of UPSA-C 1000 mg effervescent tablets per day, to take in the morning or in the middle of the day. Dissolve the tablets in a glass of water.
The tablet can be divided into equal doses.
