Oculotect Collyre Flacon 10ml

The eye drops Oculotect is used in cases of dry eye. Oculotect replaces the tear fluid in case of a tear film that is unstable or irrigation insufficient of the surface of the eye. Oculotect is adsorbed to the surface of the cornea and form a liquid film

- The active substance is: povidone

- The other ingredients are: benzalkonium chloride (preservative), boric acid, sodium chloride, sodium lactate, potassium chloride, calcium chloride, magnesium chloride and water for injection.

The usual dose is :

1 drop of Oculotect 4 times per day depending on the severity of the condition or according to need.

Mode of employment :

- Slightly pull the lower eyelid down and instill the drop(s) in the space created. The content of Oculotect remains sterile until the opening of the closure of the original.

- Avoid contact with any surface, the nozzle with the fingers, the eye, or eyelids, as well as the contact of the dropper with the eye-lashes, so that the contents of the bottle remain sterile.

- Also, avoid the contact of the eye with the dropper in order not to hurt the eye.
