EUROGENERICS.
Loratadine, the active substance Loratadine EG 10 mg, belongs to the group of antihistamines. It uses Loratadine EG 10 mg tablets to deal with complaints of allergic rhinitis (e.g. hay fever, allergy to dust mites), such as: sneezing, runny or
itching in nose, itching in the palace, and itching, redness, or discharge from the eyes. It also uses Loratadine EG 10 mg tablets for the relief of symptoms such as itching and hives (associated with chronic urticaria and hives of unknown cause (idiopathic urticaria)).
The active substance is loratadine.
1 tablet contains 10 mg loratadine.
The other ingredients are: lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, maize starch, magnesium stearate.
By the oral route.
Take the tablet without chewing, with a glass of water. The decision can be made regardless of the meal.
Unless otherwise directed by your doctor, the recommended dose is Adults and children over 12 years
1 tablet of Loratadine EG 10 mg, once per day (either 10 mg of loratadine).
Use in children
Children 2 to 12 years
Body weight more than 30 kg:
1 tablet of Loratadine EG 10 mg, once per day (either 10 mg of loratadine).
Body weight less than or equal to 30 kg:
The tablet of 10 mg is not suitable for children with a body weight less than 30 kg.
The efficacy and safety of Loratadine EG 10 mg tablets have not been established in children under 2 years of age.
Patients with a severe disease of the liver
In adults and children with body weight more than 30 kg, the recommended initial dose is 1 tablet of Loratadine EG 10 mg (10 mg loratadine) once every two days.
It is not necessary to adjust the dosage regimen in the elderly or in patients with renal dysfunction.
