Iso-Betadine® contains povidone-iodine or PVP-I. We are also told that it is an antiseptic with broad-spectrum because it kills all microbes (bacteria, fungi, viruses).

Dermatology

• Dermatitis bacterial : furunculosis, folliculitis, impetigo, acne papulopustuleuse
• Dermatitis fungal : tinea versicolor, erythrasma, intertrigo périgénital, herpes circiné, athlete's foot, onychomycosis
• Pressure ulcers, leg ulcers

Surgery

• Disinfection of wounds and disinfection of the operative field
• Peritoneal Lavage, instillation bladder
• Preparation of the skin prior to injection, venipuncture or transfusion
• Treatment of burns
