Forlax contains the active ingredient macrogol 4000 and belongs to the group of osmotic laxatives.
It adds water to your stool, which helps to overcome the problems caused by bowel movements, very slow. Forlax is not absorbed into the bloodstream or further metabolized within the body.
Forlax is administered to treat constipation in adults and children from 8 years. This medicine is a powder that must be dissolved in a glass of water (at least 50 ml) and drink.
In general, it takes to wait between 24 and 48 hours so that it begins to act.
The treatment of constipation with any medication should be applied only as an adjunct to a healthy lifestyle and a balanced diet.

The other ingredients are : saccharin sodium (E 954), flavour of orange and grapefruit that contains oils of orange and grapefruit juice, concentrated orange juice, citral, acetaldehyde, linalol, butyrate of ethyl, alpha-terpineol, octanal, beta and gamma it, maltodextrin, gum Arabic, sorbitol (E 420), BHA (E 320) and sulphur dioxide (E 220).
